Along the banks of a sleepy cove, rests our quaint summer retreat. The shaded yard, has a gentle eastern exposure and fescue lawn. Plants that typically, burn up in many of the Ashford Hill’s gardens find a perfect haven for their more delicate nature. The rich loam soil here also requires less amending. It presents less of a challenge, but it is also somewhat neglected during the winter months. Ivy’s and plants with poor manners can quickly run amuck, so join us and read along with our lake adventures in the garden and on the patio.
