It’s growing season in the greenhouse and many of the seedlings are ready for larger containers. Admittedly, I love clay pots for the greenhouse, but I also love repurposing containers.
While old pails and metal buckets are easy to consider as the next flower pot, you might not be looking in your pantry for repurposed containers. These tins planted with coleus and pineapple sage formerly stored my favorite teas. I hated to toss out the pretty tins, so I drilled holes in the bottom and repurposed them instead.
If a hole can be drilled for proper drainage, then the container can certainly be repurposed as a flower pot. This is what I call upcycling!
